Barrett’s Sausage Ltd is a family run specialist Sausage business and has been making Sausage for over 50 years.
David Barrett, who now runs the company, is the third generation of Butchers in the Barrett family. He has experience in Retail Butchery, wholesale meat sales and meat manufacturing. For the last 10 years Barrett’s Sausage Ltd have been solely concentrating on making Sausage after selling the retail side of the business. We serve pubs, farm shops, butchers, café’s and more.
We have a wealth of knowledge in all sectors of the meat industry for over 50 years. We are passionate about Sausage and that is all our business does. Create and produce the perfect Sausage for our customers. We are a medium sized business and ensure and every one of our customers receives the personal service they require. This can be from the number of days needed for delivery to developing new recipes of Sausage with a bespoke name for that customer.
The sausage is delivered in our own fleet of temperature controlled vans all over the UK with most of them on the road by 4am. Sausage is made to order so this keeps the product as fresh as possible with a good shelf life.
Having been in the retail side of butchery for many years we can meet the needs of any size butchers shop and work with them to see what sells best. We also deal with many hotels, pubs and restaurants so understand the need for top quality products that both look and taste great.
We produce hand linked sausage with natural skins for the traditional look, but also do a machine linked product in retail packs or bulk packs for caterers to give a consistent size and number.
We have been serving some of our customers for over 20 years and distribute as far as the channel islands.

Spot on. The best sausages I have had. I knew they would be good when they were cooking. Very little fat came out and shrinkage was very little. I had pork, sage and red onion. Spot on mixture.
